Shropshire Raynet has now joined the network group, the benifits are better than the RSGB, not only the groups insurance but even PAI insuance has been include with in the fee this year, the committee felt Joning the Network was the way forward and the funds were availible to allow the group to pay without cost to the members, please help out on the events differentt operators and their feedback are always welcome.

events this year have come in and decided on what we are doing please check the events page for details of events being done. operators are required for these and would be appreciated that members would come forward and volunteer for these as it makes things easier in the organization.

for those who only do a couple of events each year please try and help out a bit more, with out doing these extra events and only taking part in a 1 or 2 then some of the skills and exercise's on the air during events are being missed out on, also this puts strain on other operators and there seems to be a shortage of those for the extra events, if these were not done then RAYNET in Shropshire would not survive and not only would the local communities and other charities lack the support from a decent communications system but lives could be put in risk if an emergency should ever arise,
